"The best recreation is to do good."

I agree with this quote because people do good when they recreate themselves to be a better person. I think that when people recreate themselves is because they did something bad and they want to refresh themselves to be a better person in life. Also people may want to recreate because they want to be a better person that they already are.

"If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it."
Marcus Aurelius

I think this quote is trying to say is that if is not right to not even try to do it. And if it’s not true don’t even mention it. To get yourself in trouble. Also this quote is explaining how you can get into problems if you lie or if you

World War ll

World War II
The dates of the World War II were

World War 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.

The European war front where allied forces fought Germany and where the holocaust took place and the Asia-pacific war front. This is where America got involved in WWII after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941.

Major Events of World War II. When Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany. After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. France fell in June 1940, and soon the Nazis overran most of the rest of Europe and North Africa.

That is why we should honor our veterans. They risked their lives so we, Americans, could live in a better country. For all our war troubles throughout history, we have depended on our soldiers to keep our country safe and free. They had to fight for their country, while also fighting for their lives.

"Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing."

I think this quote is talking about how being fair and honorable than losing because doing what’s right is better. This quote is also explaining how being fair and honorable is better because if it’s a game it is better to win but you still have to lose so why not. In addition I think this quote is explaining how telling the truth is way more important than winning if you cheating cause then you're not going to be able to sleep.

"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed."

I think this quote is explaining to us that we shouldn’t be hanging around with people that do drugs and alcohol so that we wouldn’t get into doing all that stuff. For example if you hang out with someone that drinks alcohol you might want to get into doing drugs and drink alcohol. And with one time that you try it you are going to want to do it everyday.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada, the United States, some of the Caribbean islands, and Liberia. It began as a day of a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Similarly named festival holidays occur in Germany and Japan. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, and around the same part of the year in other places. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated as a secular holiday as well.
Thanksgiving, currently celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November by federal legislation in 1941, has been an annual tradition in the United States by presidential proclamation since 1863 and by state legislation since the Founding Fathers of the United States. Historically, Thanksgiving has traditionally been a celebration of the blessings of the year, including the harvest. What Americans call the "Holiday Season" generally begins with Thanksgiving.

Reflection: I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for having a hood under my head. Also i am thankful for having my parents alive. Finally i am thankful for my little sister that was just born.
